We are a group of ordinary followers of Jesus whose hearts have been wrecked by the injustice, oppression, and pain that we’ve seen and experienced in the world.
Although it would be much easier to dismiss the pain of others as something distant and disconnected from our own lives, we’ve decided that we can’t just sit back and watch it all happen from a safe distance.
We must get involved.
After all, to follow Jesus is to do what He did and go where He went when He walked the earth 2,000 years ago.
Jesus got involved. And He calls us to get involved, too. He calls us to go where people have the greatest needs; where injustice thrive and where the oppressed are powerless to stand up for themselves.
